Senior School Councillors - The following Senior School students have been elected as councillors to represent their classes.

 Our congratulations are extended to these students and their parents. We look forward to their many and varied contributions to our school this year.
 

What are we looking for in School Councillors?
We are looking for students who:

  • Are good workers in class.
  • Play fairly and well in the playground.
  • Have a positive attitude.
  • Get on well with other children.
  • Show responsibility and reliability.
  • Set a good example for others.

 

 What do School Councillors do?

  • Set a constructive and positive example to other students in terms of behaviour, attitude and work habits.
  • Assist with monitoring and managing behaviour in the playground.
  • Identify students participating positively in the playground, e.g. playing well, solving problems, caring for others, removing litter.
  • Present awards at syndicate and whole school assemblies, as appropriate.
  • Assist with the running of syndicate and whole school assemblies.
  • Assist with the running of class / syndicate / school events, e.g. discos, sports days.
  • Survey classes for ideas and opinions to bring to Council meetings.
  • Represent the school at community functions and events.
