Silverdale Normal School is now accepting enrolments from out of zone to start from Term 2.
We have the following spaces available:
New Entrant - Up to three places
Junior School - Up to two places
Middle School - Up to two places
Senior School - Up to two places
If the number of out of zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot. If a ballot for out-of-zone places is required, it will be held on 30 May, 2022 Deadline for receipt of applications is 27 May, 2022. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three school days of the ballot being held.
In terms of our enrolment policy the following priorities for acceptance are used:
1. siblings of current students
2. siblings of former students
3. children of former students
4. children of board employees or board members
5. all other applicants

School ends for 2021 on Tuesday, 14th December
Term 1: Tuesday, 1st February to Thursday, 14th April
Public Holidays (Waitangi Day - observed 7th February, Easter - Good Friday 15th April)
Term 2: Monday, 2nd May to Friday, 8th July
Public Holidays (Queens Birthday, Monday 6th June, Matariki - Friday 24th June)
Term 3: Monday 25th July to Friday, 30th September
No Public Holidays
Term 4: Monday, 17th October to Wednesday, 14th December.
Public Holiday (Labour Day - Monday 24th October)
